Well.. not for me, thanks! I think replacing the door studs with some metal parts is nice but these are just a bit to poppy for me. Call it over the edge or so, I just don't like 'em. A matter of taste I suppose! After quite a search and some discussions with the people from Online Schrauben, I found out that these guys have nice stainless rings and ofcourse the screws
that fit to these rings. Look at the disassembled parts: |

There is this advantage when you make the door nuts yourself... You can make more then just the ones for the doorpanel. Actually, you can make one for the 'cheapfeeling gearshift console' and for the attachement of the tunnel console to the back panel. I've included one picture of the gearshift console with the 'universal nut' installed. It's rock solid now and will not move anywhere anymore! |
